At Photography MK we create beautifully styled food photography using as much natural light as available as well as a variety of aesthetic lighting equipment, backgrounds and props.
Food photography is a very specialist area of photography, and the food industry is flooded with poor photography. This is usually down to bad lighting and inexperienced photographers. Your images need to wow and engage the viewer and make them hungry.
We can come to you to photograph your food and drink masterpieces, with our fully portable equipment and professional food photographer, and we can create mouth-watering images wherever you choose. We’ll work with you to create as little disruption as possible in your kitchen or working environment and make sure that it all looks exciting and enticing.
To make your food look great we use a combination of great setting, food artistry and most importantly a great understanding of light. Using natural light and supplementing it with artificial light where needed, we ‘create’ light onto the food to highlight, and make those organic colours come to life whether that’s online or on paper.
We throw in some food photography tricks of the trade which will provide an amazing end result that will make you want to lick the page! Our in-house food photographer, Martyn knows how to shoot food, and understands how to create artistic engaging images, he can discuss the right setting and accessorising for your product to create the right look and feel.
From gooey grilled cheese sandwiches to succulent steaks, to a cold glass of freshly squeezed orange juice – we can make your food come alive, and make a meal look like a piece of art.
We eat with our eyes before we even dive into our meal, so it’s no surprise when people receive their meal they whip out their phone to take a snapshot and relive the smell, the taste and the feeling later on. Project Background:
This newly opened bar in the heart of the local town centre – was struggling to produce engaging visual content with the stock of photos they had available.
The Brief:
Full website rebuild along with custom food photography. In addition, the photography was to be used across social media, advertising, marketing and in print.
What Photography MK did:
Periodically arranged photoshoots on-site as the menus changed and captured some great HOT AND COLD/PLATED MEALS images as well as eating some fantastic food along the way!
